Aam Aadmi facing brunt of bad policies of Cong, BJP: AAP Goa
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Goa alleged that the law and order situation emerging out of the protest by ‘mining affected’ people showed that ultimately the ‘Aam Aadmi’ (common man) in the state was bearing the brunt of the successive Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) governments’ policies that were designed to help only a few ‘Khas Aadmis’ (special men).
In a statement here, AAP Goa General Secretary Pradeep Padgaonkar said, “People who were agitating should have been given some relief through the funds accumulated in the District Mineral Fund.”
Claiming that recovery of Rs one lakh crore ‘loot’ was the only solution, he asked why were the mining thieves allowed to go scot free?.
“Every body knows that big time funding to the political parties comes from these mining companies,” he said and claimed that the state had slipped into utter lawlessness and was like a drifting ship.
