BJP Irked Over Delay In Issuing Circulars
Opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is irked over the Education Department act of issuing two circulars now when more than one month has passed after the academic year began.
One of the circular is on designing and pattern of midterm test paper for standard tenth and the other is on states instructions that those who have failed in two subjects for eleventh standard can take ATKT and join twelfth standard.
Accusing the Department of playing with the psyche of the students, BJP Goa Chief Laxmikant Parsekar said these circulars issued by the department, were wrongly timed.
He said the circular on designing and pattern of midterm test paper for standard tenth is issued on 29th July after the question papers for the midterm examinations are already set and given for printing.
He said: “moreover, the department has decided to restructure the papers of first term, second term and final examinations”.
Pointing out that the students have wasted one month of their academic year due to delay in issuing the circular, he said they will have cope up with one month studies and also answer two papers, which is torturous.
