Church focus on clean candidates and voter awareness

The shifting of focus by the Church from the candidates as the fulcrum of the election process to the voters was appreciated by some politicians.
Stressing the importance of electing persons who can contribute to the state’s development and resolve the problems of the common man, he said the political landscape has been marred over the last few decades by the entry of unscrupulous persons into politics.
