Former BJP MLA joins MGP
Former BJP Sanguem MLA Vasudev Meng Gaonkar said he was neglected due to internal politics and he was not taken seriously by senior BJP leaders therefore he decided to join Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP).
Gaonkar joined MGP at a meeting organised at Vadem-Curdi in presence of MGP leaders Sudin Dhavalikar, Ponda MLA Lavu Mamledar and MGP supporters.
Gaonkar said he would work for MGP and for Sudin Dhavalikar, as he was the right person to become chief minister. He also requested to the locals to support Dhavalikar in the upcoming assembly election.
“There was internal politics in BJP. I was neglected for all these years despite being loyal to the party, but this time I will not come under any pressure and will work to strengthen MGP in Sanguem constituency,” said Gaonkar.
