36000 people in Goa identified for Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana Abhiyan
The Goa Government has identified 36,000 Goans who will be the first beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana Abhiyan – the Central Government Health Scheme.
The government is ready to introduce the scheme in the state under which a beneficiary of the health scheme will get an insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh per annum for a family.
The PMJAYA will run along side the existing state government scheme of Deendayal Swastha Seva Yojana – a cashless insurance scheme for people in Goa.
