The Aam Adami Party (AAP) in Goa on Monday alleged that state unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) pinning its hopes for solution to vexed Mhadei issue on party’s National President Amit Shah reflected bankruptcy of ideas in the BJP.
In a statement here, AAP Goa Secretary Pradeep Padgaonkar said after BJP President Vinay Tendulkar had admitted that ‘Amit Shah will find a way to resolve Mhadei river row, it is clear that Goa has a non-functional government and a dormant opposition. Power is placed in the hands of Shahs and Gadkaris (Union Minister for Shipping Nitin Gadkari) for political interest in view of the Karnataka elections.”
It proved that like the Congress in the past, the BJP too with their partners, who switched sides at will, was heavily dependent on their High command thus severely compromising the interest of the people of Goa, he alleged.
On the multi party delegation visiting New Delhi on mining issue, he said AAP had pointed out that the all party delegation to Delhi was not in the interest of the common man.
“If reports of getting rebuked by the Centre are true then it was a shameful slap on their slap on their faces,” Padgaonkar said.
