New Delhi, Dec 23 (GCCurrentAffairs) As the Mahagathbandhan comprising the JMM, Congress and RJD seemed set to form the Government in the trends for counting in the Jharkhand Assembly polls, senior Congress leader and former Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram on Monday said that it was time for all non NBP parties to rally around the Congress to save the Constitution.
‘Dented in Haryana, Denied in Maharashtra, Defeated in Jharkhand. That is the story of the BJP in 2019. All non-BJP parties must raise their sights and rally around the Congress to save the Constitution of India,’ P Chidambaram said in a tweet.
In Jharkhand Assembly polls, as per the trends available at 1500hrs, the BJP was leading on 29 seats, Mahagathbandhan was leading on 41 seats with JMM ahead on 25 seats, Congress 12 and RJD on 4 seats. AJSU was leading on 4 seats, JVM-P on 3 seats and others on 4 seats.
