Aviation Minister asks Air India to probe man urinating on woman’s seat incident

New Delhi, Sep 1 (UNI) The Union Civil Aviation Ministry on Saturday asked the Air India to probe into the incident in which a passenger in an alleged inebriated condition, urinated on a woman passenger’s seat on New York-New Delhi flight.

Minister of State for the Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha directed the national airline to investigate into the incident and report to the Ministry or the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

Sinha tweeted, “@airindiain please follow up immediately and report back to MoCA/DGCA. Very unfortunate that your mother had to go through this harrowing experience.

The incident took place when a drunk passenger on the New York-New Delhi flight urinated on a woman’s passenger seat. Her son later posted on social media Twitter.

He said, “A passenger had urinated on my mother’s seat on a flight from New York to New Delhi. She was travelling alone and is completely traumatised!”

The airline also replied that the woman’s complaint has been sent to all departments concerned and the cabin crew has been asked to submit a report.
