Panjim: Union Minister Shripad Naik is recovering well and his general condition is much better, Goa Medical College (GMC) and Hospital, where Naik is undergoing treatment, said in a statement on Wednesday.
The statement said,’All his parameters, including blood pressure, pulse rate and O2 levels are within normal limits. He is continued on nasal ogyneration with two litres O2 flow and is maintaining Saturation of 100 per cent. All his blood test are within normal limits.’
‘His upper limb and thigh dressings have been changed today and wounds are looking healthy. Active and passive physiotherapy have benn continued bedside. He is ding spirometry exercises for chest expansion. He has been continued on normal diet,’ the statement said.
On his way back to Goa on January 11, 2021, after attending a programme at Dharmasthala in Karnataka, Mr Naik’s car had a terrible accident at Hosur near Gokarn. He was rushed to Goa on the same day. He has been undergoing treatment at Goa Medical College Hospital since that day.
