BJP demands longer Assembly session in Delhi, but not in Goa: Vijay Sardesai

Panaji: Goa Forward Party (GFP) on Sunday said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wanted ten day assembly session in Delhi from Aam Adami Party (AAP) government in Delhi but not in Goa.

In a tweet, GFP President Vijay Sardesai said,’Why doesn’t @DrPramodPSawant

have sense of democracy & free speech that @BJP4India #Delhi BJP leader

@RamvirBidhuri has? Extending the #Assembly facilitates people’s voice to be heard, in these testing times. We’re only asking for #Goa’s voice to be heard.’

‘We challenge @MauvinGodinho & @GoaBJP to condemn Dehi LOO @RamvirBidhuri

for demanding 10 day monsoon session from @AamAadmiParty Govt of @ArvindKejriwal

in Delhi!Or concede to similar demand by @VijaiSardesai & @Goaforwardparty

! Or say you are scared of being exposed ! @AAPGoa,’ he said.

He quoted media reports which claimed that Delhi Leader of Opposition Ramvir Singh Bidhuri wanted the Assembly session scheduled for July 29 and 30 to be longer.

The oppsoition parties in Goa had been demanding that the State Assembly session, scheduled for three days from July 28, be extended.
