BJP’s Deputy Leader in Lok Sabha Gopinath Munde on Thursday offered a financial assistance of Rs. 1 lakh each from the party fund to the families of Manguesh Gaonkar and Dilip Velip, both victims of the 25th May Balli agitation.
Munde said that the party will hold fund raising campaign in the state to support the bereaved families and assured to raise enough funds to make these two families financially stable.
Munde also demanded that government should pay compensation to the tune of Rs 10 crore for the loss caused due to burning of Adarsh Cooperative Society and the cashew godown.
Accusing the State Government of being insensitive to the lower strata of the society, Munde demanded immediate arrests of culprits responsible for deaths of two UTAA activists and commencement of judicial enquiry.
