Thiruvananthapuram, Jul 16 (UNI) In a strong protest against Shashi Tharoor MP’s ‘Hindu Pakistan’ jibe, the activists of Bharathiya Janatha Yuva Morcha (BJYM) poured used engine oil at his office here on Monday.
Urging the MP, representing the Lok Sabha seat here, to withdraw his controversial statement, the BJYM, the youth wing of BJP, also erected flex boards depicting his office as a ‘Pakistan Office’ and asking him to leave the country.
The agitated BJYM activists also placed wreaths in front of the MP’s office. It is to be noted that Tharoor made a controversial statement that if BJP is voted to power again, the party will change the constitution to make the country as a ‘Hindu Pakistan.’
Following a complaint in this regard, a court in Kolkata also issued a summon asking the MP to appear before the court on August 14.
