Campaigning intensifies for Assembly Poll in Telangana, PM to address public meeting today

Hyderabad, Dec 3 (GCCurrentAffairs) With just three-days left for the high-voltage campaigning for the December 7 Assembly Poll in Telangana to end, top leaders from various political parties are visiting the state on Monday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will be arriving at Begumpet Airport in the evening, will address a public meeting at Lal Bahadur Stadium, which is centrally located in Hyderabad at around 6 pm and return to the National Capital tonight..

This is Mr Modi’s second visit to the poll-bound Telangana as he had addressed public meetings at Nizamabad and Mahabubnagar on November 27.

As it would be his (PM) last public meeting before the poll, BJP leaders are putting in all efforts to make it a grand success.

Elaborate security arrangements have been put in place for Mr Modi’s visit.

There was four-tier security set up comprising 1200 policemen of various wings to guard the venue and surrounding areas.

For People’s front ( Mahakutami), formed by Congress, TDP, TJS and CPI to defeat the TRS government–AICC President Rahul Gandhi will participate in the roadshows in Jubilee Hills and Kukatpally in the city today after participating in election meetings at Gadwal and Tandur in the state. TDP President and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was also participating in a series of election meetings at Musheerabad, Khairathabad, jubilee Hills, Kukatpally and Serlingapally Assembly segments in Hyderabad district from 12.30 PM to 6.30 PM.

TRS President K Chandrashekar Rao (popularly known as KCR) has released its party manifesto at a massive public meeting at Parade grounds here on Sunday.

“ I have toured 100 Assembly constituencies and I am confident of winning with a good margin”, KCR said.

BJP President Amit Shah on Sunday addressed public meetings at Narayanpet and Kamareddy in Telangana.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also addressed a public meeting in Hyderabad on Sunday evening.
