On the occasion of Ruchika Art Gallery’s fourth anniversary, Carnival of Colours, a painting exhibition at the Gallery, Miramar was inaugurated by Governor of Goa Dr. S. S. Sidhu on Thursday. The exhibition will be open till 25th February for all art lovers.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sidhu said that paintings help people to express their feelings, emotions, and ideas on a canvas artistically. He said that the artists need to be complimented for their creativities and quality of work.
In this exhibition, works of 29 artists have been displayed. The artistsinclude Santosh Morajkar, Charudatt Prabhudessai, Francisco D’Souza, Hanuman Kambli, Harshada Kerkar, Hitesh Pankar, Julia D’Souza, Lizel D’Costa, Mario Miranda, N. Kanhaiya, Nirupa Naik, Norman Tagore, Priyadarshan Salgaoncar, Querozito D’Souza, Rajan Fulari, Rajashri Thakkar, Sachin Naik, Sadguru Chendvankar, Savio Peres, Viraj Naik, Shilpa Naik, Thiodore Mesqueta, Vaman Navelkar, Vasudev Shetye, Yolanda D’Souza, Suhas Shilkar, Vishan and Chaitali.
Ruchika Art Gallery has been conducting these types of exhibitions for past three years on its anniversary. The Governor also released a catalogue on the exhibition on the occasion.
