Catholic Federation to evict nuns for protesting against accused Bishop Franco

Kochi, Oct 11 (GCNews) The Catholic Church in India has turned to its age-old practice of branding as heretics those women who stood up for the truth in its attempt to muzzle the 44-year old nun who was raped repeatedly by Bishop Franco Mulakkal.

The Changanacherry-based Catholic Federation of India is to launch a protest demanding the removal of the nun who has filed a police complaint against the accused Bishop and other nuns who spoke out against the accused Bishop during the Kerala police investigations and their #ArrestBishopFranco protests.

The Federation allege that the nuns are staying illegally at the Missionaries of Jesus convent in Kuravilangad, Kerala.

They have threatened the movement of Save Our Sisters (SOS) which was started to fight for justice for the raped nun and demand #ArrestBishopFranco saying that if the nuns launch the second phase of their protest against the Catholic Church, they will launch a protest to oust the nuns from the convent.

The Catholic Federation of India has shockingly stated that these nuns are embarrassing the name of the Catholic Church and must be removed from the convent immediately, if not, they will take legal actions against the nuns.
