CBI to commence Vasco Rape Case investigations from tomorrow
Senior officials of CBI Headquarters in New Delhi have confirmed that the Goa State Unit – CBI have been issued a notification to commence its investigations on the heinous crime committed.
When GoaChronicle.com spoke to a senior official of CBI-Goa Unit, he confirmed that CBI will be commencing their investigations from tomorrow and will be looking at all the angles in the case to ensure that the young rape survivor gets justice.
Head Mistress of the Deepvihar School, Class Teacher and Head-Clerk were held accountable for a serious criminal intent of destruction of evidence; however, the accused were granted anticipatory bail.
Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar had decided to hand over the case to CBI after a petition from an NGO and stated that the Goa Police has done its best to bring the culprit to the book but could not apprehend the rapist.
