Reporters present at the media briefing questioned him as to the reason behind these allegations and whether he thought the Chief Minister was working against him because he (Alemao) was a strong contender for the Chief Minister position, to which he replied that first Kamat must win the elections to be a contender for the CM position.
The minister also stated that the police authorities were not serious about his complaint and have failed to register an F.I.R. but instead opted to file just a Non-Cognizable offence.
He further added that the CMs supporters have been working against him and even trying to intimidate his supporters.
When GoaChronicle.com spoke to Kamat, he said, “I have been told about his allegations. And really I am quite surprised that he could make such comments.
