CM volunteers at hospital OPD on his birthday
Panjim: Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Friday spent a few hours volunteering with a team of doctors at the North Goa district hospital in Mapusa town, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a tweet, he said, “Serving the people has always been my passion and source of immense satisfaction. On my birthday today, I volunteered to join the team of Doctors at OPD of the District Hospital Mapusa.”
“We must ensure the safety of our dedicated medical personnel who are keeping us safe during this pandemic of #Covid_19 and I stand committed to the same. On my birthday today, I volunteered to join the team of Doctors at OPD of the District Hospital Mapusa. #IndiaFightsCOVID19,” he said.
Dr Sawant, who is a Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery, from the Ganga Education Society’s Ayurvedic Medical College in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, turned 47 on Friday.
