Congress gives ‘No Confidence’ notice to government

The Congress on Friday gave a notice for no confidence motion against the government for March 27, when the Lok Sabha resumes after the weekend.

The notice was given by Leader of the Congress in the Lok Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge in a letter to the Lok Sabha secretary General.

“Under Rule 298 (b) of chapter XVII of the Rule of procedure and conduct of business in Lok Sabha, I hereby give notice to move the following motion in the house on 27-03-2018.
‘This House expresses no confidence in the council of ministers”.

“I request you to include the motion in the revised list of business for 27-03-2018,” Kharge said in his letter to the lok Sabha secretary General.
