A visibly upset Ramkrishna (Sudin) Dhavlikar of the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) lashed out at the President of the Goa Pradesh Congress Committee Girish Chodankar during a conference in which he lambasted the Congress for sending feelers to his political currently in alliance with BJP to break the alliance and join Congress to form a new government.
Dhavlikar stated,”There is no change in leadership in Goa. Manohar Parrikar continues to be Chief Minister. The Congress President in Goa before issuing statements about the integrity of MGP should first ask his MLAs and political leaders to stop sending feelers to form a new government to MGP ministers in the current BJP-MGP-GFP led government.”
Last week rumour mills were working overtime because former Chief Minister of Goa from the Congress Digambar Kamat met with PWD Minister Dhavlikar. Dhavlikar told media that MLA Kamat met with him and this was because of PWD work related to his constituency Margao.
