Court refers to Police the complaint against Karnataka CM Kumaraswamy

Bengaluru, May 3(GCCurrentAffairs) The Special court on Elected Representatives referred a complaint seeking action against the Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, for allegedly staging Dharna against the office of the Income Tax office, recently, to the concerned jurisdictional Police station.

The Magistrate, Ramachandra D Huddara, taking up the complaint lodged by M Mallikarjuna, on Thursday, referred it to the Commercial Street Police station to take suitable action.

The Complainant Mallikarjuna had registered a private plaint before the Court, recently.

It may be recalled that the Karnataka Income Tax authorities had also sought action against Chief Minister Kumaraswamy allegedly revealing impending IT raids on March 27 and staging protest in front of IT offices in the city, the next day.

Taking serious note of the leaders who had staged a protest against the IT authorities, the IT department had also charged that the Chief Minister had acted against National interest.
