In the order issued on Thursday, the Crime Branch in charge has been asked to be present in the Court on 16th July at 10 am.
The Crime Branch had earlier asked the court to issue non-bailable warrant against Fr. Newton as immigration authorities and overseas consulates can execute only such warrants.
The non-bailable warrant against Fr. Newton is coming in the wake of his continuous failure to appear before the court despite being served the summons. He is required as he is a material witness given the fact that the case was charge sheeted following his complaint.
