Mumbai: Maharashtra State School education minister Varsha Gaikwad said that decision regarding School Secondary Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)examinations will be announced in the next five days.
The number of Covid patients in the state has increased. The safety of the students is our priority. The examination will be decided after reviewing the situation,” she said last evening .
Minister Gaikwad also said that consultations are underway with parents, teachers, student representatives, political parties, technology veterans and other experts in the field of assessment options for SSC and HSC class students,she added.
It may noted that the state government has already announced its decision not conduct examinations of First to Ninth and Eleven standard across the state following the Covid pandemic spread out severely in state .
