Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal acquitted in BJP Leader Ramesh Bidhuri Defamation Case

New Delhi: A Delhi Special Court on Wednesday acquitted Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal in a defamation case filed by BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri.

Bidhuri had filed a defamation case against Kejriwal in the year 2016 after the AAP leader, in an interview to a TV channel, made the alleged defamatory statement against him.

Kejriwal had allegedly said that serious criminal cases were pending against Bidhuri but Delhi Police was not taking action against him.

Special MP/MLA Court presided by Vishal Pahuja (Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate) today pronounced the order acquitting Kejriwal.
