New Delhi, Jan 29 (GCCurrentAffairs) With just 11 days to go for voting in Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has once again taken the lead in setting the tone for the final leg of the election campaign.
Starting Wednesday, AAP will launch a mega-campaign titled “Mera Vote Kaam Ko, Seedhe Kejriwal Ko” through a blitzkrieg of activities, at a scale never seen before in this election campaign by any other party, with the single aim to touch every voter of Delhi at least two times in the next ten days with a single message – vote for work, vote for the future of Delhi, vote for Kejriwal.
There will be four major components of the campaign- -Door to door campaign – 50 lakh houses to be covered in 7 days, AAP volunteers will knock the doors of 50 lakh families living in Delhi within seven days, two cadres of AAP volunteers have been mobilized to carry out this work – 20,000 volunteers i.e. 300 per Assembly from existing party structure in Delhi, and 5,000 new volunteers – mostly students and young professionals – who have volunteered through ‘Kejriwal Phir Se’ campaign with the single aim of re-electing Arvind Kejriwal as the CM of Delhi.
There will be Jan Sabhas – 8,000 meetings in seven days-In addition to the door to door campaign, all the Candidates, star campaigners and the entire leadership of AAP in Delhi at state, district, assembly, ward and mandal level will lead the charge of Jan Sabhas. In all, four Jan Sabhas have been planned every day in each of the 272 wards of Delhi adding up to nearly 8000 Jan Sabhas in the next 7 days.
Nukkad Nataks and Flash Mobs – 3000 performances in total-AAP has finalized a plan to deploy around 3,000 volunteers across 70 Vidhan Sabhas (4 teams of 10-12 volunteers each) every day in all the prominent spots of Delhi such as market areas, busy roads, public parks etc. to creatively communicate the campaign’s message to the public through Nukkad Nataks and flash mobs.
Each of these teams will conduct an average of 10 performances every single day using arts, song and dance designed to ensure people across the city take notice of the fact that their vote for the 2020 Delhi elections will be a vote for the future of Delhi, and to strengthen the hands of Mr Arvind Kejriwal to do even more work for the people of Delhi.

In addition, an Army of AAP volunteers will be spotted at all busy road intersections and metro stations interacting with the public and encouraging them to sport the white AAP cap as a sign of support for the fact that this vote will be for work, and for re-electing Arvind Kejriwal as the CM of Delhi.
A single and uniform message will be given to the people of Delhi through the form of the flyer attached.
The message re-emphasizes the transformative work done by AAP government in last five years, assures the voter of the “Kejriwal ki Guarantee” that all these services will continue in the next five years and will be supplemented by a further set of projects and initiatives in their local areas and at Delhi level.
Finally, the message will appeal that each and every vote for JHAADU on February 8 will be a vote to re-elect Arvind Kejriwal as the CM of Delhi.
