Dense fog covers Delhi, air quality remains ‘very poor’
Due to the dense fog conditions, dispersion of particulate matter became difficult as air turned very dense due to the high relative humidity pegging over 90 per cent.
The air quality in the adjoining cities to the national capital also remained under very poor category while a couple of places in Ghaziabad reeled under severe air quality, while AQI over 401 was also recorded at a monitoring station in Noida and Greater Noida.
Due to the dense fog around the city, visibility for the motorists was affected and commuters faced problems.
The weatherman has also forecast similar fog conditions for Monday with minimum temperature to hover around 8 degrees C.
