Kolkata: Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar on Monday said he will today take up with Union Home Minister Amit Shah the “worrisome situation in West Bengal”.
” Would be discussing with the Union Home Minister at noon today the West Bengal worrisome situation. Also state of affairs and affairs of State @MamataOfficial,” Mr Dhankar tweeted.
” Welfare of the people of West Bengal is ever uppermost in my mind. All my actions are inspired to mitigate the woes of WB people,” Mr Dhankar clarified regarding his scheduled meeting with the Union Home Minister.
Mr Dhankhar said, ” Will discuss issues @ Mamata Official with the Home Minister today-part of my DUTY under Article 159,i.e. “” To the best of my ability preserve, protect and defend the Constitution; •Devote myself to the service and well-being of the people. I PLEDGE TOTAL COMMITMENT FOR WB PEOPLE, ” the Governor noted.
