Do not capture images of the restricted airbase: South Goa DM

South Goa District Magistrate Dr Tariq Thomas, IAS, has issued direction to refrain to capture images of the restricted airbase area to avoid any untoward incident leading to the overall security of the airbase.

A statement here from the government on Thursday said, “Aerodrome Committee had informed to the District Magistrate that videography and photography is carried out by the general public by climbing on the water pipeline running adjacent to the boundary wall of the airfield area and further uploading the same on the social media which is a serious concern as it is detrimental to the overall safety and security of the airbase.”
