Panjim: In an act of reposing its confidence in the current Chief Minister of Goa, BJP Central Leadership has declared that the Chief Minister face of Goa Election 2022 will be Dr Pramod Sawant, who took over the reigns of the BJP government after the untimely demise of the former Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar.
CT Ravi, BJP National Secretary and Goa Desk-in-Charge announced the news during a media interaction post BJP State Executive Committee meeting held in Panjim today. He said, “Dr Pramod Sawant and current BJP State President Sadanand Tanawade will ensure party’s victory with complete majority and that he is confident that the people of Goa will bless BJP during Goa Elections 2022.”
“People of Goa blessed BJP in the ZP Elections, they will bless us in the Municipal Polls and then in 2022 election,” expressed CT Ravi.
The meeting was chaired by Union Minister for Fisheries Giriraj Singh, BJP national general secretary CT Ravi, the Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant, State President Sadanand TanaWade, Deputy Chief Minister Chandrakant Kavlekar, Minister Michael Lobo, IT Minister Jeniffer Monserratte, former CM Laxmikant Parsekar, and others.
