Chief Minister Digambar Kamat launched e-services for Tourism Department, Directorate of Panchayats and Commercial Taxes Department at the Secretariat, Porvorim on Friday.
Department of Information Technology along with National Informatics Centre, Goa Electronics Limited and other agencies under the Infotech Corporation of Goa Limited alongwith the departments concerned has already hosted over 50 services since 19th December 2010.
The Panchayat Department launched five services — applications for issue of income certificate, residence certificate, copy of birth certificate, copy of death certificate and search of birth and death registration.
The Tourism Department also launched five services — registration of new hotels and renewals, water sports, Tourist taxis and Travel agents.
The Commercial Taxes Department launched 19 services — registration under value added tax, central sales tax, entry, entertainment, luxury; tax deducted at source; renewal of registration under VAT, entertainment, luxury, TDS; payment of taxes under VAT, CST; filling of returns under VAT, CST,COT, luxury, entertainment, entry, TDS.
