Earthen Hands – a show organized by Goa Handicrafts Rural and Small Scale Industries Development Corporation (GHRSSIDC) is currently underway at the Don Bosco Oratory Hall, Panjim. The show is a business to business (B2B) activity cum retail exhibition.
This show will provide an opportunity to handicraft buyers and exporters to directly interact with artisans not only from the state but also from different parts of the country. Different activities like workshops and seminars have also been organized.
This show cum exhibition, which will go on till 31st March, is sponsored by the office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
After inaugurating the exhibition, GHRSSIDC Chairman Sameer Salgaocar informed that they are looking at holding this show annually as there is a tremendous scope for handicrafts in India and also abroad.
The B2B conclave of the show will be on 27th will host seminars and interactions on different topics by different resource persons. There will also be sessions on micro finance and revolving funds, artisan’s identity card and artisan’s credit cards, etc.
