Edtech startup Unacademy teaches students to discriminate against Brahmins

Panjim: In a shocking video that has gone viral on social media platforms, one of India’s leading Edtech startup Unacademy is teaching students in its online tutorials to discriminate against Brahmins.

In the video, the online teacher falsifies the interpretation of the Vedas and the role of Brahmins in society. Portray Brahmins in a poor light and as a caste of people of India who were discriminatory towards other castes especially the lower caste.

The video besides being discriminatory in nature is propagating hate against a particular caste in India.

Early this week the Edtech startup raised USD 150 million from Softbank with a valuation of USD 1.45 billion.
