London: India will tour England for five-match Test series starting on August 4, 2021. The home team begin with a three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka scheduled to be played at Durham, The Oval and Bristol, beginning on June 29, 2021.
Another three-match ODI series, against Pakistan, followed by a three-match T20I series against the same opponents.
The Test series against India is due to conclude the men’s international summer, with matches at Trent Bridge, Lord’s, Headingley, the Kia Oval, and Old Trafford.
The series is due to get underway on August 4 at Trent Bridge, with following matches taking place at Lord’s, Headingley, and The Oval, before finishing up in Manchester on September 14.
India’s last visit in Tests in 2018 saw the hosts emerge 4-1 winners, despite an impressive display with the bat by Kohli, who ended the series top of the charts with 593 runs, 244 more than second-placed Jos Buttler.
“It’s an exciting prospect for England fans, and while Covid means there’s still a great deal of uncertainty, we really hope to be able to welcome fans back into the grounds safely next year to bring that unique atmosphere to stadia across the country,” ECB chief executive officer Tom Harrison said in a statement.
