Fani forces Amit Shah to cancel his Jharkhand visit

Ranchi, May 3 (GCCurrentAffairs) BJP national president Amit Shah was today forced to cancel all his public meetings in Jharkhand due to severe cyclonic storm Fani.

Mr Amit Shah was scheduled to address three public meeting spread across three Lok Sabha constituencies while campaigning for his party nominees who are contesting in the seats where polls would be held on May 6 in the fifth phase.

Mr Shah was to kick start his programme at a public meeting at Block Maidan at Jhumri Tilayia where he would have sought vote for party candidate from Koderma Annapurna Devi while later in the day he was scheduled be at Kutchury Maidan in Khunti to campaign for Arjun Munda contesting from Khunti Lok Sabha seat while his third and final public meeting was scheduled at TBS school grounds in Ranchi for campaigning in favour of Sanjay Seth.

Jharkhand BJP media member Pradeep Sinha said that all the programmes of Mr Shah has been cancelled. However ,Chief Minister Raghubar Das and incharge for BJP Lok Sabha polls in Jharkhand Mangal Pandey will be attending the meetings in Khunti and Ranchi.

The future visit of Mr Shah is yet to be worked upon by the party, he said.
