Patna: Feroz Hussain, son of RJD leader, Illyas Hussain today joined JD(U).
Hussain was granted membership of JD (U) at its state headquarters by leader of JD(U) in Rajya Sabha RCP Singh. Chairman of minority cell of BJP, Tanveer Akhtar was also present on the occasion.
Hussain who had deserted RJD on last Saturday, said after accepting the membership of JD(U) that he was highly impressed with performance of Chief minister, Nitish Kumar as he had succeeded and maintained communal harmony in Bihar in last 15 years.
Akhtar while welcoming Hussain in JD (U), said that a number of leaders from Muslim community were now joining JD (U) who would help in further strengthening the party. During the RJD regime, a sense of insecurity was created among minorities so that they could continue their support to RJD, he added.
As it is Feroz Hussain while deserting the party on Saturday, had alleged that RJD had now started selling party tickets and deviated from its principle of social Justice. RJD had become party of one family and it was not acceptable to him to continue there anymore, he added.
