Festival Of Pizza And Pasta At Cidade De Goa

To celebrate the monsoons, Café Azul at Cidade de Goa will be hosting ‘Festival of Pizza and Pasta’ from 17th June to 26th June with a delicious assortment of hand- tossed Pizzas and home-made Pastas.
Café Azul is an ideal place this monsoon to enjoy Chef’s hand-tossed Pizzas and Pastas. One can have pizzas cooked in a special wood fired oven with a choice of salmone (smoked salmon, capers and basil leaves), ciopolle (onion, anchovy and black olives), tuscany (smoked chicken and pickled onion rings) along with a complimentary glass of cheer for every guest.

Café Azul has created a combo along with soups, salads and desserts to make a complete meal. “Keeping individual tastes in mind, we offer mild Pastas and fiery hot ones, popular pizzas and special ones, since I know that a large number of our guests are young kids and families,” said Chef Prasad Paul.
Distinct flavours of the Mediterranean (roasted zucchini, peppers, feta and mixed olives) tre funghi (three mushrooms – portobello, button and wild mushrooms) and quattro formaggi (aclette, camembert, gorgonzola and mozzarella) lets one explore the vegetarian trail.
Cidade de Goa has also rustled up a ‘Special Ethnic’ section of pizzas for Goan at heart like prawns balchao, chicken cafreal, Goan chourico and chilly fry among others.
Italian cuisine awakens the senses to the aroma and taste of oregano, rosemary, garlic, etc, so celebrate with pastas like Monte Carlo (baby prawns, macadamia nuts and caramelized onions tossed in chardonnay cream) or Pollo Polpetti (minced chicken and coriander balls in sweet tomato sauce) or pasta lovers all-time favorite cacciatore (tender chicken, celery, mushroom and olives).
 Among the vegetarian delights they have ortolano al marscarpone (mushrooms, spinach and cherry tomatoes blended with mascarpone cheese) and pesto (ground basil, pine nut, olive oil and parmesan cheese) and many more.
 Café Azul’s  house specials like lobster ravioli in tomato anchovy cream sauce (tortellini with creamy crab meat sauce), corn and broccoli stuffed cannelloni topped with parmesan caper cream, spinach and mushrooms lasagne topped with paprika cream along with Italian flavored soups, salads and desserts are also available for  those who enjoy a zesty zing to their Italian food!
