Fire At Dabolim Expansion Site

Fire broke out at the site where presently the work of Dabolim airport expansion is going one. However, the construction workers managed to douse the fire even before the fire services personnel could arrive.
While the officials were tight lipped about the incident, it is learnt that paper and other waste including plastic that was dumped near the construction site caught fire.

The huge flames close to the civilian aircrafts parked at the parking bay caused panic amongst the workers, who however, succeeded in not only controlling but also dousing the flames.
