Fire breaks out in Delhi’s Mundka godown; 1 dead, 1 injured
New Delhi: A man died and another sustained injures in a fire that broke out in a godown at outer Delhi’s Mundka area, Delhi Fire Services said on Sunday.
The incident took place at around 2310 hours on Saturday night in a godown at Swarn Park, Mundka, where the fire department had to deploy nine tenders to fight the blaze.
The department recovered a man’s body while controlling the blaze and rescued an injured person. The deceased was from Ayodhya is said to be a worker in the godown, the locals added.
