First ever online Nabadwip Mandala Parikrama for ISKCON devotees all over the world

Kolkata: As per established Vaishnava scriptures the month of Purshottam is considered most auspicious and any devotional act performed during this month multiplies the spiritual credits.

As per Sanatan Dharma Calender Purshottam month is very dear to Lord Sri Krishna and comes once in 3 years.
ISKCON Mayapur has organised a very unique Navadvipa Mandal Parikrama from October 09 to 15 in the auspicious month of Purusottama.

This Parikrama is unique that the (Audarya) most merciful, Navadvipa dhama will manifest in homes of devotees from 83 countries through zoom.

So it gives opportunity for devotees to welcome to the most munificent dham sitting at home.
One will have darshan of nine islands of Navadvipa, all important temples, places of pastimes (Lila) of Lord Sri Chaitanya MahaPrabhu following the Parikrama route of Sri Nityananda Prabhu, who took Srila Jiva Goswami on Navadvipa Mandal Parikrama more than 500 years back.

Along with darshan, one will get the chance to hear Gaura Katha and very intimate lilas that are connected to each island and realizations of senior Parikrama leaders who will lead in the Parikrama.

The Parikrama commander is his Holiness Jayapataka Swami Maharaj.More than 10000 devotees are expected to participate in the Parikrama.

“Due to COVID restrictions we could not conduct the Parikrama on ground this year. However, by organising this online Parikrama we have ensured that devotees all over the world do not miss out the Nabadwip Dham Parikrama during this most auspicious month of Purshottam”, informed Subroto Das, Media spokesperson of ISKCON Mayapur.

Devotees are asked to register on a website (mayapuronlinefestival.com) and they are provided a link from where they can participate on zoom.

Each day the Parikrama will be 1.5 hours starting at 8.00 pm to suit global viewers.
