G20 Extraordinary Virtual Leaders’ Summit on COVID-19

Riyadh, Mar 25 (GCCurrentAffairs) Amid novel coronavirus affecting almost all nations across the world, the Saudi G20 Presidency has set the date of the extraordinary virtual Leaders’ Summit for March 26.
King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud will chair the meeting to advance a coordinated global response to the COVID-19 pandemic and its human and economic implications.
G20 summit on coronavirus threat, comes after SAARC video conference of leaders hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier this month.
G20 members will be joined by leaders from invited countries — Spain, Jordan, Singapore and Swtizerland as well as international organizations UN, World Bank, the WHO, and WTO, the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), the IMF and ILO.
Regional organisations will be represented by ASEAN, African Union, Gulf Cooperation Council
