GESTO Institute of Hospitality and Culinary Arts in association with International Center for Culinary Arts (ICCA, Dubai) launched the International Chef Training Program at their Goa campus in Porvorim.
The program will train and equip students with industry’s best practices for placement in the hospitality and cruise line industry internationally through its quality and competency based ‘Diploma in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) – International Chef Training Program’. The students will be trained in Goa for 3 months and then will be sent to Dubai for 3 months of advanced training, before meeting placement opportunities.
ICCA Dubai is amongst the top 10 culinary institutes in the world. It is industry centred, takes on professional training with an integrated approach for the refinement of food production and kitchen management skills, thus enabling students to seamlessly integrate, effectively deliver and excel in the hospitality industry.
The students are currently placed on international jobs in The Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL) USA, Oceania Cruises USA, Celebrity Cruises USA, Thomson Ships UK and with leading Hotels such as J W Marriot Hotel, Le Meridian Hotel, Address Hotels, Armani Hotel, Al Habtoor Hotel & Spa, Kempinski Hotels, Palace Hotel, Rydges Plaza Hotel, Shangri – La Hotel, Westin-Le Meridian and in retail food concepts.
