Goa BJP MLA adopts fake COVID to seek four weeks adjournment from SC alleges Congress


Panjim: The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) on Monday alleged that the ‘Defects of Defectors while Defending Defection” stands completely exposed with Nuvem MLA Wifred D’Sa claiming that he is admitted in Covid Hospital for testing positive.

The BJP MLA adopts Fake COVID and Jumla Corona in a desperate attempt to seek four weeks adjournment on the disqualification matter which is listed in the Supreme Court on August 11, 2020.

The petition is filed by GPCC president Girish Chodankar seeking disqualification of ten MLA’s who had defected from Congress Party to join BJP.

In a statement, Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) General Secretary Amarnath Panjikar alleged that the BJP had crossed all limits of shamelessness and was stooping low to save imminent embarrassment to its government which was formed adopting to all unethical and undemocratic means.

GPCC General Secretary tweeted with a photo copy of the application submitted by Advocate Misha Rohatagi before the Registrar of the Supreme Court seeking adjournment of four weeks citing reasons that Respondent no 8. ( Wilfred D’Sa) is yet to be discharged from the Covid Hospital after testing Covid positive.

Panjikar tweeted,”Defects of Defectors while Defending Defection. We pray for good health & long life of Babashan. Sometimes Pictures speak louder than Words. #FakeCovid #JumlaCorona of @BJP4Goa stands Exposed. Shame on @DrPramodPSawant & Shame on @ShetSadanand. Long Live @INCGoa.”

The GPCC General Secretary extended his wishes with prayers for Good Health and Long Life of Nuvem MLA Wilfred D’Sa who is popularly known as Babashan.

“Congress Party always believes in the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi of truth and justice. Nothing better can be expected from the followers of Mahatmas killers. We are confident that finally truth will prevail,” Panjikar said.
