Goa CM conveys heartfelt condolences on death of Assembly Speaker’s mother

Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has conveyed his heartfelt condolences to Goa Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr Pramod Sawant on sad demise of his mother.

A statement from Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said, ‘Chief Minister has conveyed his heartfelt condolences to speaker Dr. Pramod Sawant on sad demise of his mother.’

Padmini Pandurang Sawant, mother of Goa Legislative Assembly Assembly Speaker Dr Pramod Sawant, passed away after brief illness at Goa Medical College and Hospital on Tuesday.

The funeral is to be held at his Kothambi residence in North Goa today.
