In a tweet, the Chief Minister said,” Late last evening, I spoke to the Goan Seafarers telephonically who signed off from Marella at Mumbai Port. They will all be back home very soon.”
According to minutes of State Executive Committee meeting held on Friday in the city, three ships carrying goan crew are about to berth in Mumbai or may come to Goa. After testing negative, these seafarers would come to Goa and would be housed in the paid quarantine facilities.
As per Cabinet decision, the employer company has to pay for the quarantine facilities.
