According to Director of Tourism Swapnil Naik, the campaign will hit 58.4 million households in Europe and Africa and 4.5 million households in Asia.
Beauty Queens, Mahima Chaudhary who later on acted in quite a few Hindi movies, Miss India 2010 finalist Alisha Pekha and Miss Russia 2009 Svetlana Stepankovskaya feature in the 30 second campaign that will be aired for nine week from 11th July.
The campaign highlights the night life in Goa including the casinos and also show the models exploring the Goan landscape on two wheelers. Pekha and Stepankovskaya feature in bikinis in the campaign.
Naik while clarifying that bikinis feature in this campaign as it meant for foreign countries as Tourism Department had decided not to use bikinis in their promotional material.
He said the advertisement has been designed to project Goa as a bouquet of experiences by that is the reason why the hinter land is also given prominence.
Even though Goan hospitality is renowned the world over, Tourism Minister Nilkanth Halarnkar disclosed that another campaign is planned for Goans to enable them to being hospitable to the visitors.
He said this campaign will be in Konkani on the lines of Atithi Devo Bhav of the Tourism Ministry of Government of India.
