Grenade explodes in hands of an Army Officer in Poonch

Jammu: An army captain reportedly suffered injuries when a grenade exploded in his hand while he was handling it in Balakote sector near the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Police sources said that the incident occurred at about midnight on Tuesday in which the Captain sustained injuries.

He was shifted to Army Hospital Rajouri for treatment, police sources added.
