The Bombay High Court at Goa on Wednesday issued notices to the Directorate of Health Services and Chief Secretary asking for a reply on Public Interest Litigation filed by Mapusa MLA Francisco D’Souza with reference to the Mapusa District Hospital.
A miscellaneous application in the PIL has also been filed on similar grounds by Amicus Curiae Advocate Saresh Lotlikar who is assisting High Court in this matter.
The High Court stated that both these matters will be heard together on Monday and thereafter the tender petition of Shalby Hospital which is pending before the High Court will be heard.
The tenderers Shalby Hospital and Radiant Life Care Pvt. Ltd. have not been made respondents in this petition filed by Francisco D’Souza. However, the court said that if they are interested, they can apply for intervention.
