Heavy rain likely to occur in Telangana in next 24 hours : Met

Hyderabad: Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Vikarabad, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, Jogulamba Gadwal districts of Telangana during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Sunday.

In a bulletin here, it said that the same situation is likely to prevail in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalli,Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mahabubabad, Warangal (Rural),Warangal (Urban) districts of the state on July 20.

Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal (Rural), Warangal (Urban), Jangaon districts of Telanagna on July 21.

Heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in the state on July 22, the bulletin said.

Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in all districts of Telangana during the next four days.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at many places or at most places in the state during the next five days, the bulletin said.

Southwest Monsoon has been normal in Telangana.

Heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places in Wanaparthy district of the state during the last 24 hours.

Rain occurred at a few places in Telangana during the same period, the bulletin added.
