Ranchi, Dec 24 (GCCurrentAffairs) Jharkhand Mukti Morcha’s (JMM) acting president and Chief Minister candidate for Mahagathbandhan in Jharkhand Hemant Soren will be meeting Governor Draupadi Murmu at the Raj Bhawan to stake claim for the formation of the new government in the state.
The party has called a meeting of its newly elected MLAs which will be held later in the afternoon at the residence of the JMM supremo Shibu Soren where officially Hemant will be elected as the leader of legislature wing of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha.
Hemant will take oath as the new Chief Minister of the state on December 28 in a function which will be held at the Morabadi Grounds of the state capital. He himself won from couple of seats of Santhal Pargana division including Dumka and Barhet.
The result of the elections which was announced on Monday the Mahagathbandhan led by JMM swept into power in the state by bagging a total of 47 seats out of which JMM won 30, Congress 16 and RJD 1 seat.
