New Delhi, Feb 27 (GCEntertainment) Five years after he wowed cinegoers with his portrayal of Mahavir Bisht in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Highway’, actor Randeep Hooda is teaming up with the filmmaker for his next venture.
As he gets ready for the yet unfilled film, Randeep Hooda says that he hopes to create some magic again together with Imtiaz.
”I am really happy to be teaming up with Imtiaz Ali again after ‘Highway ‘. After ‘Highway’, the character of Mahabir Bhati was etched out in people’s memory fondly and so beautifully. I hope we can create some magic again,”Hoods told UNI in an interview.
Speaking about the film, Randeep said,”It is a very interesting take on ‘love’ and how it has changed over time. It is not like it used to be.”
The actor was all praise for Imtiaz’s style of filmmaking.

I really like the purity of his approach towards work, art, films and acting . I hope the feeling is mutual. I really like the process of rediscovery of what I love,”Randeep saud.
He, however did not reveal any more details about the film saying that bit was for Imtiaz to reveal it .
Talking about his journey of being an actor, he said,”I always wanted to be an actor. I wanted to play different people. I used to watch mkvies and go back and go alone somewhere and say the lines
The fame that I have got is just a side effect being an actor.”
Though much details of the film are not known, trade sources say filmmaker Imtiaz Ali’s next is the sequel to his 2009 hit ‘Love Aaj Kal’ , which would star Kartik aryan and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles.
The last time the duo of Randeep Hooda and Imtiaz Ali teamed up was for ‘Highway ‘in 2013, which featured Ali bhatt as the female lead.
It is a known fact that besides his love for acting, there is something that the actor is passionate about and that is ‘horse riding’.
When asked about it, he said that he don’t merely own horses to show off but loves them.
Mr Hooda , after coming back from the shoot of the Chris Hemsworth-starrer Dhaka in Thailand, took part in the qualifying rounds for the National Equestrian League in Mumbai at Mahalaxmi Race Course this year.
However, despite having the leg injury, the actor participated in the second qualifying round that was held on Monday and won the silver medal.
Speaking about the Pulwama attack and the air strikes on JeN terror camps by the Indian Air force, he said,” I think we have been quiet for a very long to incidents of terrorism from across the border . We have not really retaliated.but in the last few years we have. That kind of acts as a deterrent for incidents like Pulwama. There is a sense that we have avenged the attack of Pulwama.
I hope the exchange stops here and does not escalate into a bigger conflict which might cost more lives. I hope they (Pakistan) do not repeat something like Pulwama .”
